There are three important things you'll want to know about the August meetup, so be sure to click the "Read More" link to get it all! 1) Potluck at Carol's, 2) school supplies donations, and 3) there may be some (optional) filming.

We have a change of plans for the August meetup. Carol offered to host it at her house. If the weather is nice, we'll be in the back yard. Otherwise, we'll stay inside. Bring a lawn chair if you have it. And since this one will be a potluck, please bring something tasty to share. (Newbies can have a free pass, though.) Carol will provide coffee and tea. Any other drinks you want, you'll have to bring. Plates and such will be provided. If you want, you can email me with what you plan to bring, and I'll list it here.

So far, I've heard people will be bringing: bratwurst, sloppy joes, Italian vegetable
salad, spinach artichoke dip w/ crackers, chips and dip, and an unspecified desert.

A couple other special things to note about this meetup... First, Michael will be collecting school supplies donations. You can see the message board thread about the donations here: http://www.wichitaath... . Second, there's a possibility that we might be filmed by a couple of curious guys from The Downtowner. I'll be placing some conditions on the filming, including the condition that only people who want to be filmed will be filmed.

Carol has plenty of room for a crowd, so come if you can!
