Our June Atheist Book Club discussion will cover selected chapters from "The Authoritarians," by Bob Altemeyer. In his free e-book (and cheap audiobook), Altemeyer writes about his fascinating psychological research into the mindset of the followers of authoritarian leaders, in both political and religious terms. We will, of course, focus on the religious side.

We will read and discuss chapters 3 and 4, plus the first three pages of chapter 1. That is a mere 57 total pages.
